The WHY?

The Why J


My Mission: To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that all can have the opportunity to repent and follow Jesus.  


Why me? 

By trusting in and serving Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior I have been given the eyes to see and the ears to hear a great mystery that others have not seen, nor heard. 


God’s Word states, “For what man knoweth the things of man, save the spirit of man which is in him?

 Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God”. 

(1 “Corinthians 2:11 KJV)

 

I am now a steward of this mystery. My life is on mission to share this mystery. 

In truth, there is nothing in this world that is more important than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 


I must share so that each know and are given the opportunity for the Lord  “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me”. 

(Acts 26:18 KJV)

 

 A little context into “how” I became the steward of this great mystery. 

 

After hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ 21 years ago, I told Jesus that I desired to trust and follow him. I had enough of “me” and the deception and lies that surrounded me, and I wanted to trust and follow him. 

At that point, I entered into a personal relationship with Jesus and was released from the power of darkness and given the POWER from God. 



On that very day, at that very moment, the Lord performed an operation on me without using his hands. He came in and circumcised (cut) the sins from my flesh and buried them. 

At that point, he raised my dead spirit from death to life. 

My dead spirit came alive and I could “see and hear” his TRUTH!  (Colossians 2 shares in detail or I will share over a cup of coffee). 

 

From that point on I could “see” the darkness of this world and the need for a Savior. 

I could “see” that it is man and his sin that has destroyed himself, families and the nations. 

I could see that “God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved”. (John 3:17)

 

Day by day, one by one I could “see” the foolishness that stemmed from all the chaos that surrounded my life and the world. I could “see” the lies, deception, philosophies, worshipping of idols, traditions, and pride filled thinking that engulfed my life. I could see these were not God's way; they were the ways of the world (Satan's).

 

I was so excited to tell everyone, yet I found out that they were “good” in their own eyes and had no desire to “see” or learn anything different. 

 

WOW that was a harsh, sorrow filled reality. It has taken years to settle in and grasp that one wants to live that way and God gave each the right to choose. What I know now is that God offers exceeding abundance and man settles for crumbs. 

 

Fast-forward 21 years later.  I am now 100% sure that the Word of God, the Holy Bible contains all TRUTH. I KNOW 100% that there are people all around the world that have never been given the chance to hear what the Bible says and then have a choice to choose to believe or not. 






 

I know that I cannot change hearts, but I can at least share!! Now, at this season of life, I am blessed with the time, health and finances to “Go” somewhere else to share and to use my energies to build, encourage and edify those long term missionaries that have given their lives to sharing and teaching.

What I "SEE" leads to HUMILITY as "they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with affections and lusts". It takes dying to self to grow into His image.  It takes "seeing" as I journey in abiding in Christ and bearing fruit!  Websters 1828 Dictionary defines "Humility": freedom from pride and arrogance, humbleness of mind, a modest estimate of one's own worth. I believe that it is impossible to live in a first world country and not be pride-filled. Our needs are met. Most have a roof, in fact, a very nice roof over our heads, a constant supply of food and water, healthcare that can keep us living far beyond our intended years, air conditioned and heated vehicles, trucks, BIG trucks to haul our many purchases, and sooooo much more that I could list.  Pride-filled hearts are what fills us. Sharing in the Blessings with Finances

I am so excited to spend 70 days in Togo with this established mission.  I have learned along the way that we should share the wealth of the Blessings we each receive, thus I was all set to pay for it all on my own, yet it was brought to my attention that others may like to be part of the mission as well!  I learned that not all can go, but many are still led to pray and help with the costs.  So, IF you feel led to bless financially in this mission, these are the anticipated expenses that we can share in.  IF I receive more than I need, I will donate the rest to the Hospital of Hope.  http://hohmango.org There are always critical needs to be met! I am anticipating the 70 day mission trip to cost around $5000.00 These are the expenses: Hotel in Lome x2 with meals ~$150.00 Transportation to and from the hospital- 9 hour drive one way ~$1000.00 - I am hoping to be able to share that cost with other missionaries going at the same time. Websters 1828 Dictionary defines “propagate” as to continue or multiply the kind by generation or successive production; to spread; to extend; to impel or continue forward; to spread from person to person; to give birth to; to carry from place to place; to increase; to generate; to produce; to be produce or multiplied by generation, or by shoots or plants.     Bible Believers /Missionaries are set apart to “propagate” the message of the cross.   The message is that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the one who was prophesied over thousands of years to come and save the world from their sins.
