“Propagation"

Websters 1828 Dictionary defines “propagate” as to continue or multiply the kind by generation or successive production; to spread; to extend; to impel or continue forward; to spread from person to person; to give birth to; to carry from place to place; to increase; to generate; to produce; to be produce or multiplied by generation, or by shoots or plants. 

 

Bible Believers /Missionaries are set apart to “propagate” the message of the cross.

 

The message is that Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the one who was prophesied over thousands of years to come and save the world from their sins. He lived on earth for 30 years and performed many signs and miracles, “and many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book”.

 

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believingyou might have life through his name”.

 

Once you BELIEVE and choose to trust and follow Jesus, then the Lord opens your understanding, that you may understand the scriptures. You are then set apart for a much larger purpose…………To “Propagate” 

 

Luke 24:45-47

Then opened he their understanding, 

that they may understand the scriptures,

and said unto them,

Thus it is written,

and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, 

And to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

 

Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) shares……..

Go ye therefore,

And teach all nations, 

Baptizing them in the name of the Father, 

and of the Son, 

and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:

and, 

lo, 

I am with you alway,

even unto the end of the world. 

Amen

 

Mark 16:15

Go ye into all the world, 

And preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved,;

but he that believeth not shall be damned. 

 

I am so thankful that someone came along and “propagated” the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to me!!!

 

I came from a background of people that either

·      Never heard the Gospel of Jesus

·      Heard the Gospel of Jesus, but chose not to believe, trust and follow

·      Believed in a “religion” that was not Biblical. This group created their own God and rituals.

 

The outcome was a life of chaos, confusion, lack of peace, discontentment and settling for whatever my mind could conceive and justify as “love” or “good”. Included were envy, jealously, adultery, idolatry, and anger. 

I denied I was a “sinner” and created my own definition of “good”. 

 

At 40 years of age, I learned of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I learned that we live in a broken, fallen world, BUT God, the one who created us, promised to send us a Savior, to save us from our sins and give us new life! I chose to believe, trust and follow Jesus. 

 

I smile today as I am in Togo, surrounded by a group of people who also believe, trust and follow Jesus. Many were raised in homes that taught about Jesus from birth. Many are adults that were once missionary kids. 
This IS their Life!!! Propagation is their way of LIFE!! 

 

There are Medical and Surgical Doctors, Nurse Practioners, Nurses, Midwives, Church Planters, Pastors, Educators Discipliners’, Radio Bible Teachers, Mothers, Fathers, Nana’s, Papa’s, Chaplin’s and many more who LOVE the Lord and desire to Glorify Him! 

 

What a SWEET, SWEET Blessing it is to be surrounded by these Missionaries. 


These are just some of the Short and Long Term Missionaries that have chosen to utilize their gifts at the Hospital of Hope Compound.

What I "SEE" leads to HUMILITY as "they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with affections and lusts". I believe that it is impossible to live in a first world country and not be pride-filled. Our needs are met. Most have a roof, in fact, a very nice roof over our heads, a constant supply of food and water, healthcare that can keep us living far beyond our intended years, air conditioned and heated vehicles, trucks, BIG trucks to haul our many purchases, and sooooo much more that I could list.  Pride-filled hearts are what fills us. Sharing in the Blessings with Finances

I am so excited to spend 70 days in Togo with this established mission.  I have learned along the way that we should share the wealth of the Blessings we each receive, thus I was all set to pay for it all on my own, yet it was brought to my attention that others may like to be part of the mission as well!  I learned that not all can go, but many are still led to pray and help with the costs.  So, IF you feel led to bless financially in this mission, these are the anticipated expenses that we can share in.  IF I receive more than I need, I will donate the rest to the Hospital of Hope.  http://hohmango.org There are always critical needs to be met! I am anticipating the 70 day mission trip to cost around $5000.00 These are the expenses: Hotel in Lome x2 with meals ~$150.00 Transportation to and from the hospital- 9 hour drive one way ~$1000.00 - I am hoping to be able to share that cost with other missionaries going at the same time.
